Oh yes.
Before you start, check sim 44-02. You'll probably see readings for one or both sensors at 226 (DMLED & PCLED).
When you're changing the drum, be sure to thoroughly clean the drum mark and drum patch sensors. A common cause for this code is a failed lower cleaning seal or drum blade allowing toner to spray right on the drum mark sensor. Sometimes it's just normal wear on the drum causing the high readings. Normal readings are around 40.
Then go to sim 44-02 and run the PROCON Gain Adjustment. It will re-initialize the sensors. Run sim 14 to reset the error. Reset your drum counters and you're good to go.
The code won't clear, and the sensors won't initialize without running the simulation. That goes for any machine with a drum mark sensor back to analog days. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We also use the AR620KA maintenance kit when we do the drums if they are getting a lot of F2 codes. Comes with new toner seal, side drum seals, etc. Well worth the added expense on this model if you are not already using it.
Good luck.

When you close the drum frame back up don't forget to plugin the drum mark sensor! So many people do that and get call backs for F2 codes. You will also get light copies.Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.Comment

The only thing I can add to this, is to make sure the drum/dev rotation counters in 24-11 are reset as well as the page counter for each item when you do this service call.
Every single Dragon/Dragon2 that I service has the 620KA kit every 300K. I have 4 of them in my car right now! You'll never get trouble codes like that if you take the extra 5mins to replace the seals, blade & grid included in the kit. I never replace a drum without the 620KA kit at the same time. Its well worth it!Comment
