Getting a light shadow on rear of copy through df. On the glass is fine. Cleaned optics. C I s assly. Slit glass area. Secured DF hinges and adjusted hinge height but no luck. Thanks t

Is this a 2 sided copy through the ADF or single sided?

Have you run shading correction?

Single sided and no I didn't run sh. Correction. What sim would that be and is it for the glass or DF. Thanks t

Both. 63-02 will run that sim. Make sure white references are clean, optics are clean and run it. Takes only a few seconds.

Also check copy density corrections in 46-20 and match the adjustment values displayed in 46-17.

Have also had this problem caused by the rear hinge by the slit glass needing adjustment. I would do the white reference and it would be okay for a week or so then come back until it finally was there all of the time. Adjusted the DF height and the shadows disappeared.
