    AR-M277 Developer Leak

I have a Sharp AR-M277 that is spewing developer around the feed and transfer areas. Is there a seal or setting that is known to cause this problem? Also does it take 1 or 2 bags of developer on a change?

    1 bag of dev only.

Check the upper dev seal is not turned under causing poor dev transport around the mag roller. Sometimes this seal needs replacing.
Check the MC unit & drum are in good condition, as its common for wear to cause arching & then excessive dev pull.
Also change the drum separation pawl timing in sim 51-01. Change items 1 & 2 from 50 to 53.

Like he said. A worn drum will pull your developer. Correct me if I'm wrong, wazza, but I recall reading something about a modified right door ... something about transfer contacts ...

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yeah, there was some changes made, but that was to do with strengthening the door arms (so the door would close properly) and extending the contacts (fixing c/q & transfer issues).

I read this particular one as more of a dev seal folded over sort of thing.
        We'll see.....
