    ARM-451 Poor quality

I just did bought an old 451 but with not so many pages printed but i has a poor quality on both print and copy. I did swaped dev unit & drum & transfer roller from another machine but with no major efect. In sim 8 is all at default value.
    I atached some examples
    Where should i start?

You've tried the most common causes, but there's no guarantee that the used drum or developer were any good.

Me? I would install new developer. If quality was still light, I'd adjust Gamma (46-18) down a little. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've done what u did say first sim 25-2 stoped at 84 then i rerun the sim 3 time's and every time it stopped at 79 (i did clean old dev and toner sensor).
Then i printed the Custom Settings List and it was like before ( very light ). So i enter the 46-18 and low the value (64 > 3) and nothing on the copy then i put 127 on the 3 till 14. I don't know what ''CIS'' mean's.
When u say ''I'd adjust Gamma (46-18) down a little.'' u mean to say 3 or 127 (not exactly the numbers) but which way is down?
The other machine is running at default value, is this maxim value forcing the machine in some way?
Which is the cause for this?

I did atached the afther print and before, pls ignore the scanning line which i didn't until i did the scan.poor quality.pdf

The value you want to change is the 64, to a lower value, for which ever original type you have selected as the default, for example: Text, Photo, Text/Photo. CIS means "Contact Image Sensor" and will adjust the copy quality on the backside of two sided originals, and there are also sub-categories Text, Photo, and Text/Photo.

Did I explain that clearly? =^..^=

OK, i did understand u but when I did lower the value (64) to 3 copy was white. In exchange when i did raise it to 127 the copy was much better perhaps a bit too black.
In the pdf that is in my other post first page is with 127 value and second is with default 64.

You don't have to set gamma to its lowest possible value. For example if it's at its default: 64, maybe you would try 60. If that's not dark enough try 56, etc. =^..^=
