[Jamming] MXC310 with its inner finisher jamming

Visited MXC310 with an inner finisher jamming and catching on the black gate at finisher exit declaring POD1_S or POD2_S. You may get two sheets coming out ok but jams on the third copy. Checked actuator arms ok. Machine fairly new, only 8k done so far. What is it that causes the jam? please help.

Frontier with FN12 finisher POD1_S jams are usually caused by an incorrect fixed position of the paper entry gate solenoid, giving a smaller than required entry gate opening. The slightest bit of paper curl will catch on the entry gate as it is not open enough. Move the solenoid position to allow a greater opening distance of the entry gate.

Frontier with FN12 finisher POD2_S/FPPD1_S jams are usually caused by either deformed rear edge delivery sheets on the upper PG (which can be removed OK), or the finsher firmware is less than v01.02.F0.

Basically, the very latest engine & finisher firmware should be used, adjust the position of the entry gate solenoid and check the upper PG delivery sheets are not deformed. If they are, they can be removed and the finisher used OK without them.

As advised by Wazza, found the upper PG delivery sheet in the finisher deformed. Straightened same found working ok
