    A0-01 in ar-m236

    Hello
    I get a code A0-01 in one AR-M236 when i try instal a fx7 fax module.
    one thyng i`m sure, the fax fx7 is good, and work good in other ar-m236 copier.

    any help, i`m glad

    A0 01 Content Security incompatibility error
    Details When the PCL or the FAX board is
    installed, it does not match with
    compatible/incompatible setup of the MCU
    board security.
    Cause The security compatibility/incompatibility of
    the installed PCL or FAX board does not
    match with that of the MCU board.
    Check
    and
    remedy
    Cheek the security compatibility/
    incompatibility of each board. Match the
    security compatibility/incompatibility of the
    boards.

    You may need to update ALL firmware. Machine/fax/print

        That's a reasonable concern. Updating firmware on several models of Sharp copiers is a risky business. And you'll require a converter board of some sort. I'll see what I can find out. =^..^=
        If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Unless you have a computer with a serial port, you'll need a USB to serial cable. I've done quite a few of these. There shouldn't be any other issues.
