    sharp ar-m160

hello everybody, I got a service call from this machine and it's just a jammed paper. So I removed the jammed paper but still the jam code is still there. The jam code is in the fuser/exit unit. Is there a resetting code for this code? Thanks in advance for your help.

Check the Fuser Exit Sensor Actuator Arm and Spring, ensure that the 'flag' at the end, goes into the Sensor housing in the end of the Fuser and that there is no debris in the Sensor housing.

You may have to change the Sensor on the Fuser, they are not the greatest and being placed next to the hot Fuser does not help.
    regards

Johnbla is on the mark. Those sensors go intermittent after you cook them for 10 or 12 years next to the fuser. It can work fine cool, then go intermittent when hot.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is no resetting method for this jam code. It's just this sensor that's causing the code right. ok thanks sirs. I'll check this part.

The jam sensor arm may be missing due to an overly aggressive jam remover. Make sure the black sensor piece is still there .
