    I am pming mach with 191k on it it has never been serviced do i have to reset any counters for copy quality and is trere asim for dev replacement? thanks for any help

      Paul this man needs a manual!

      191k and it's never been touched? The copies must be crap. Drum, DV, blade, charger and probably a fuser (at least clean the felt on the back side of the heat roller). Make sure you take a Q-TIP and clean the TCS sensor off under the mag roller.

      Sim 24 resets your M-counter, drum & DV.
      Once all counters are reset and new DV installed turn machine on with front door open, enter sim 25-2(DV Calibration), close the door and run the sim. Do not power the machine on with doors closed until the DV is calibrated.
