This machine displays f2-02 code. I've replaced the toner cartridge (generic) and I replaced the dv unit with a used one that I had in the shop. I've used Sim 10 to activate the toner motor with the toner cartridge out of the machine and the toner motor is turning. When I replaced the dv unit the machine worked for about a day and then I got the same f2-02 code, I'm assuming that when the toner in the dv unit was exhausted the toner add system couldn't keep up. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried the sim 25-1 to see what the toner value is? Sharp pretty much just says check the connectors and the toner sensor then replace the toner. If you are using refilled toners that could be the issue. These are the troubleshootings steps for F2-02 in SM.
Check connection of the connector inthe toner motor section.Replace the toner cartridge.
Check connection of connector andharness to the main PWB.
Check for disconnection of harness.
Toner concentration sensor outputcheck SIM25-1.

2-coronas arcing
check if the drum during warm-up is not coated with toner
that will be a problem

Got it. Found the plastic coupling on the toner motor broken and not properly engaging the toner cartridge drive gear. Thanks for your tips!Comment
