Re: MX-2610n strange stripes and blocks in prints
Hi Froota,
a customer of us is experiencing exactly the same issue as seen in picture #1 your first post with intermittent horizontal black lines in text only.
Did changing memory finally solve your problem?
Here the problem started suddenly, printing PDF files using PCL6 driver. The PDF file itself (a manual) hasn't been changed in years, nor did the printer. The only things that changed is the new Adobe Acrobat Reader (problem occurred at Version XI) and possibly a new PCL6 driver. It happens on two different PCs, both printing to the same printer.
The problem doesn't occur always when printing, but most of the time. When it first starts on some page, the black lines will be on subsequent pages too.
A fix that currently seem to work is downgrading to the old printer driver version shipped with the printer and dating from 2011 and also downgrading to Acrobat Reader 9.
For now, our customer has no more issues, but I would still like to find a reason and (hopefully) permanent solution to this problem.
Yours,
Sierra
