    MX-3500 POD_1N

Jamming every two or three pages on entry to fusing unit or on secondary transfer belt, a few of the pages that exit will have squashed text. I had a new secondary transfer fitted it and noticed the drive belt on the old one was stretched a bit but fault kept occurring also replaced drive gear on primary transfer belt and the fault disappeared although the old gear had no cracks or missing teeth and the back where the pin sits was fine. a4r and a3 both worked fine (no jams, or image squash) when the fault was occurring on a4.

Its working currently just worried that the fault will return on monday morning currently considering changing the primary transfer belt drive motor

As soon as you mentioned the squished text i thought primary transfer belt drive gear. I'd say you have it fixed.

I have seen a instance where the waste toner auger for the transfer belt was seizing up because the toner was going hard. The motor was having a very hard time turning the belt at proper speed and it was causing jams and H5 codes as the paper could not make it to the fuser in a timely fashion. The cause of this however was the little white plastic thingy on the right side of the waste toner bottle was missing and toner was not being pushed around so toner was backing up.
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
