AR286 with code f2-31 after adding Toner...

I could use a service manual for this machine also.

Basically, it asked for toner so I gave it what it wanted, now its asking for a service with code F2-31.

Can we remove this code, or did I screw something up? All help is appreciated.

    thanks guys...

Your toner add roller is worn - dumping toner into developer. Replace foam roller and seals in toner hopper, should take care of trouble. You may have to replace developer and re-calibrate.

There's nothing I can add to the previous posts. Just wear your black shirt. Dumping the hopper can be messy.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You need to replace toner roller nrolp1211 and the seals. Then you should be okay. What I have noticed is the toner roller goes bad, it's a spogy roller and once you replace it you should be fine.
