If I change and calibrate developer copy looks fine for about 2 or 3 days. I swapped developing units. Cleaned toner sensor. New drum. Please help.

Re: MX-M350 Background
The calibration number on Monday was 88. The one before that was 98. No developer dumping. Basically the copy looks fine except the background. It is also not consistent. Sometimes you can hardly tell there is background and other times it's really obvious. The copy doesn't look over-toned and there is no excess toner misting into the machine. If I scanned a page I'm not sure it would even show up. I just downloaded the current firmware. Not sure whether theirs is current or not but will check.Comment

Have you checked the exposure? Either in the system settings under copy/initial status or under sim 46.Comment

Re: MX-M350 Background
What's your copy count? You said you've changed the developer and drum, was it at a PM interval? Have you changed your transfer roller? If you don't change the transfer roller that will definitely give you some background issues...Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?Comment

Re: MX-M350 Background
Is it second side only? Maybe DF position, hinge wear, or white plate mis-alignment? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
