    AR 207 print question

I have a customer with a Sharp AR 207. They want to set the copier up to use the network print.
I have an old print board from some Sharp copier. I am not sure what model number of the copier. The board is an "andromeda GDI PWB Ver 1.0".
Can I use this board in the copier to run the printer?
If I can, then I can use the Pricom 3100 to connect to the network.
    Is this possible?
Can I get the print driver for this off Sharp's web site. (I have the disk for the Sharp "AR M207", is this compatible?)
    Thank you for your imput.

    Sorry, mlb.

Andromedas are AR-M237N, AR-M277N. I believe that this is the standard parallel port which must be removed to install the TCP/IP network card. It won't work on a Panther.

The driver is wrong too. The driver for a Pegasus (AR-M207) won't work on a Panther (AR-207). The mechanical parts are all the same, the electrical parts are all different.

    For Parallel printing you need:
    AR-PB8 Network Expansion Kit
    AR-PA1 LCD Panel Kit

    For Network printing you need:
    AR-PB8 Network Expansion Kit
    AR-PA1 LCD Panel Kit
    AR-PS1 PS2 Expansion Kit
    AR-NC3D Network Interface Card.

Good Luck finding all these boards. And if you do find them it will be cost prohibitive to follow through with.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
