    [Dead] mx2310u

    Hello friends.
    I have a problem in one new mx2310u machine. After installation 3 month it working fine. Now the problem is when power is given to the machine no display is glowing. Control panels small led is flowing and fan is rotating . Heater lamp and scanner not glowing. I have cleaned ram and Rom in mfp controller pwb but still machine is dead. I have already cross check scanner controller pwb, dc power supply and pcu pwb. Plz help me to out of the problem. Customer is very annoyed..

    Always annoying when its a new machine.

    Try disconnecting finisher/ extra trays if there are any installed you could also tray the firmware upgrade from dead method

      I've heard that reseating the SD card may resolve this error, I haven't tested it myself personally though.

          Confirm the status of the LED (red) below the CPU heat sink on the MFPC PCB
          If the LED is ON the SD card is probably faulty
          Once you replace the SD card you will need to force firmware upgrade

              Thanks for the response, but for the sake of curiosity, was the SD card replaced/reseated prior to the MFP Control PWB?
