I don't see why anyone should be resetting copy counters, regardless of whether the machine went out on tenders or demo. It's just underhanded, it would be like resetting the odometer on a car lot after every test drive.

not for sake of reseting counters.
problem with eeproms or pwb.
it is much faster to fix the counters by yourself, then sending it to japan.

Elevated sims are great for that, yes. Not for resetting copy counters. I use elevated sims only when absolutely necessary.
