I have a Sharp AR-M205 that was traded in. It pulls developer about 1-1/2 inches back from the front of the machine. It takes a while(weeks) and then makes a nice little puddle of dv in the imaging section. Gets into the transfer charger, the drum unit and down onto the bypass. I have cleaned and looked and I can not find the problem. Parts replaced; Drum and drum frame with new charger. Dev unit with new developer, swapped right door from two different machines. Cleaned every piece of optics I can. Desassembled the LSU and cleaned it. Any other ideas that I have missed? Thanks.

Re: Sharp AR-M205 DV problem
It's usually a warped developing unit top cover or a warped upper seal that skims developer off the developing roller. I know it sounds silly, but some of our techs would layer a new seal over the old making the problem worse. One seal only, please.
Also make sure the machine is level, front to back. Place your level on the copyboard glass. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
