Hello ,

I have a sharp 5001n that leaves little dots on my copies , this happens even if i clean and restatic primary belt and cleaning blade . Its almost as if the first transfer cleaner unit is defective. I took the belt out and i turned it and sure enough the dots appeared on the transfer belt ,so i changed the whole unit and a few months later the problem came back. Does any body had this issue as yet ?

Had same problem, ended up putting another mx-310y1 in it.

If they look like 2 teardrops, the inside of the belt and the unit are contaminated. (> <) like this only front to rear.

I changed the unit and it worked , however I suspect that fur like roller in the cleaning unit .
