The manuals just make it seem harder than it really is, it's more tedious than anything. Nothing really to worry about... Starting with the laser first would be a simpler option however.

Kinda silly on my part, something I just completely forgot about because it just doesn't happen to me in the field.

The problem was SO SIMPLE. The fix..... clean the "glass" on the under side of the LSU. UGH

This one got me. Maybe it will help someone else in the future. ha

Good catch. If you get around to changing one of these lasers keep in mind that the alignment pins in the frame fit very tightly into the laser housing. So remove the mounting screws and carefully lift all four corners just a little to make sure that the laser is free of the pins. On my first one I lifted just at the front, and broke off the two rear alignment pins. It's not catastrophic ... just not the best way to do it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
