Lines about 1/32 apart cover page top to bottom (see attachment) when using the glass and adf, not when printing. Is it a memory chip problem or a CCD problem. Picture has shading issues, the original is perfect.

Try removing the fax option, I've some weird symptoms when that's been installed. I'm not sure how the copy process versus the print is performed on the IMC pwb, but that might be a good starting point. The firmware looks up to date, but a re-flash wouldn't hurt. Is the problem consistent with every copy, or is it random?"You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" -- -

I would physically check to see if there are any memory upgrades. Both show as 0MB, so if there is a DIMM it is dead. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
