[CQ] Sharp MX3501-n red dots, faint blue and yellow streaks.

    Hi there,

just wanted to ask how to get rid of these ever present and annoying CQ issues I keep having with a sharp MX3501-N. I've changed drums and developer, also a transfer belt and nothing works. The new belt gave worse streaking then before, I'm fairly certain all steps to follow PM were made correctly.

Is there something I'm missing during color calibration, should I do a full calibration after each single drum or dev change?

Whenever you replace any single image quality component, you have to do the full calibration. There are no partial calibrations. Either do it all or don't bother. This isn't just some sort of Sharp thing. It qualifies on all manufacturers.

Since you didn't list the calibration steps, you either didn't do them all, or don't know what they are. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Definetely agree with blackcat on this. If you are not going to do all of the steps of the color calibration on this series then you are wasting your time, it will bite you at a later date! Takes about 15 to 20 minutes to do it right so not a lot of time invested for a quality output. If you are getting thin lines then you need to take a close look at your charge units, clean and or replace.

      Good luck.
