Hello friends
i have a old costumer copier model SF-2314 that the copies are all blacks almost like when the copy lamp is broken.

so, i already chek:
-copy lamp is work ok, good light.
-the group of litle lamps, that are into the copier, up the drum are goods to.
-the drum is ok to
-developer is good to
-the mirrors and lent are very cleaned.
-and the sm 46-01 are adjust fine.
-and last, the copier there are many years that are stoped, but only as about 3000k copies (realy), because
was sold by us to.
(there are a long time that i do not work in this model)


any help i m glad.

I recall seeing this the first time I worked in the field and it was on one of these little machines, was my first solo call, try and replacing the exposure lamp, its getting weak, that's what it was on mine, lamp still lit up, but not enough, even tried to max out exp settings in TC 46, I replaced lamp, and it went to working again.

Yes it maybe the exposure lamp. You have to remember that this model is aprox. 12 years old. The drum developer etc. may be that old also. You will probably spend more than it is worth to try to fix it.

You say that the drum is ok. Is it a new drum, fairly new or it just looks good?

Is the drum being cleaned by the cleaning blade?

Are they using Sharp toner or whatever they can find?

-ok, the copier only as 3000 copies, but there are the years, i do not now if the years
are the issue.


about the copy lamp, i will go check this, but there are a good light.

Dingo, this machine is a piece of crap, not worth an hours labor. Just dig a hole and throw it in. =^..^=

Dingo, how about the developer cleaning seal? if broken also can result in main corona dirty, dark out put.
Oh, just recalled my memory, got two mirrors after the len, have you cleaned?

I have not worked on an analog for many years and forget what codes it would pop, but could there be something with the MC unit. If MC was no charging drum, would it give black page. I would think it pop a C1-00 code but I could be wrong.

This machine is before my time... so forgive my ignorance, but I've seen similar stuff when the CCD is out of alignment. Does this antique have a CCD?

No, analog machines had a series of mirrors that shined directly on to drum surface to form latent images. No CCD

hi mate,

i already post the fix ago in this post.
the issue was the copy lamp that was bad,so i replace by a new one and the copier its good now.
