Simulation to run specific parts of the copier individually?

One of the techs here is looking for a simulation or some method to run individual parts of the machine. (MX-4101N) I believe it is to locate a squeek in a customers machine. The areas of interest are the Fuser and Document Handler. Is there some way to do this?

The service manual explains several test commands that can be used. (You better hurry though, Paul <JustManuals.com> is thinking of raising the price for manuals.)

      Scanner 1-1, 1-5
      ADF/RADF: 2-3
      Finisher Motors: 3-3
      Desk Motors: 4-3
      Engine Motors:6-1
      Duplex (ADUM): 9-3
Toner Supply (remove toner cartridges before running): 10-1
Developing (remove toner cartridges before running): 25-1

These are the appropriate sims, but ...

I strongly recommend that you have the manual open in front of you, so that you know what to expect when you run these motors.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
