[CQ] admin password

One of my customer change and forget admin password in MX-M202D. can any one tell me how I reset that password. Machine is equipped with MX-NB12.

Sim 22-7 will get you the current passcode for the machine if that is what you are looking for.

In this new models dose not support SIM 22-7. Any other suggestions?

if the password is for the nb12, just reset the nb12
also 22-7 shows main body code.

hi yes you can reset with nb-12
you need to download a file to you USB/memory stick
unzip. do sim 49 and run the file

Ok. Tomorrow I will try NB12 reset with usb stick. I have that firmware in my laptop.

After upgrading MX-NB12 it's admin password not reset. Problem still not solved. Any suggestions welcome..

There is a small push button switch on the NB print controllers - hold that button while powering up, it will give a configuration page and reset password to default.

nb12 is internal pwb , not the hump, unless boad has a reset button on it. I hope it's not like the 2610 and newer were you have to send board to Sharp to reprogram

That's what I get for not verifying what I thought was correct - there goes my credibility.

The MX-NB12 password itself cannot be reset if lost. The entire MX-NB12 CAN be set back to factory default by uploading the factory reset file using sim 49-2 and a jump drive. In the past you had to contact your rep or the hotline in order to request a copy of the file. It is not published.
