    black copies

    hi
we have an mxm200d with black copies.
self generated prints are fine in 64 but copies are black.
with it only happening with an optical scan we thought it may be the ccd unit, it was swapped and unfortunatley has not fixed the black copy fault.
has anybody got any ideas please ?

    Re: black copies

That really only leaves image processing ... more specifically the MCU or the IMC2. You seem to have your bases covered. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Have you checked if the lamp is operational while scanner carriage is moving?

Sorry for asking, but does the copy lamp light up?
        I'm getting older and slower.

          Gents
first off, apologies for the delay in responding.
the fault turned out to be the mcu pwb, just swapped the nvram around and switched on......
          thankyou for your replies chaps.

          regards
