It sounds like you could really use a technician on staff, in addition to sales people.

I find it really interesting that a person like you expects to get a complete crash course in copier repair over the internet, for free. Did you really think that these copiers you sold wouldn't need any kind of service? They probably hold that manufacturer's training just to earn a little extra money on the side. Servicing copiers is really easy. Anybody can do it. (If you didn't notice, those last five sentences were ironic, idiotic.)

If you'd really like to solve this problem yourself you'll have to include a few scans of the image quality issue. Are you using OEM toner and developer? Be sure to indicate with an arrow, which direction that the paper fed through the machine.

In the long term you should work on finding some competent service people to subcontract, until you hire for yourself. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
