we've got 2 of these now showing the fuser web maint message and we can't get it to clear. the copiers do not need a pm, all pm counters have been reset, the fuser has been swapped, the fuser connectors have been checked for paper scraps and been replaced. in the test mode, the web sensor appears to be on, has any one seen this problem before? ( also, the firmware has been re-loaded, no help) tia--jim

If you print off the 9S-103 maintenance list, what replacement interval is listed? What number of rotations before replacement? Sure, you may have reset the counter in 6S-02, but if the replacement interval is "0", then it always shows PM warning. There is a place in 08 mode to set that interval.
Note: If you notice other maintenance counts gone wacky or a repetition of today, you might have a failing NVRAM. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
