    [Error Code] ES 6520C error C471

    hey people

    machine first came up with C472 which i reset & it now displays C471

    checked fuser unit throughout, lamps, thermal breakers (thermostats), thermistors & connectors and all are fine, so i guess the IH board fuse is blown, or the board is stuffed

    silly question, is access to the IH board from the machine rear? what kind of fuse should i take with me? i have the service & parts manuals but couldn't locate concise information on location, no removal procedure and no piccy of the IH board

    any assistance greatly appreciated

      The IH board is at the top of the rear frame. You've got a couple of boards to remove to get there.

      But before you do that, check that the lower right side door interlock is made. I've seen the shoulder screws back out, and the switch actuator doesn't actuate. That can give you a C471. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          was just looking at the "AC Wire Harness" diagram and wondering if this machine may be susceptible to interlock switch problems,,, used to have interlock switch problems alot in the 80's n 90's
