    Scanning locked out

    Hello

    I have an Toshiba es4540c that I think was previously in a bank. Scanning was locked out in the admin mode of top access which I have turned to enable. Now I am not able to scan to the local hdd. When the customer presses scan he can press local mfp but the ok is locked out. On another note I have not been able to turn on the department codes for the machine and when I tried to do a factory reset in the admin mode it failed. I am digging through the service manual and not finding the answer. Does anyone know what I can do?

      I've done this exact thing for PaperCut installed machine that have come back from lease. Do a 3C-3 HDD re-format, then proceed as if it were a new HDD. Guaranteed you'll be back to the factory settings. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
