[Error Code] e studio 4555c error f101 sub code 1

I think the customer unplugged machine while in it was firing up. Now getting error F101 -1. Looks like hard drive but most likely it just needs to be reformatted
Has anyone run into this before? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re-formatting the drive is a short term solution at best. Unless you're bored during the holidays, and need something to do ... then do again.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Holidays were pretty boring. lol But reformatting hard drives wasn't on my wish list.
I haven't done anything to machine yet. I'm not real familiar with Toshibas, and I was just wondering if Reformatting would be the way to go. More like I was hoping it was. But I should know better. Anyway, I'm going to order a new hard drive from Hytec , but I have no access to OSS. If anyone can help me out with the software it would be greatly appreciated.

          F101_1 is ADI HDD error...

Anyhow, u can try following before replacing new ADI.

          1. Perform [3C] - [5] (Key Backup Restore) and check that each Key Status is "OK".
If not, recover the key (copy "SRAM Key Status" to "FROM Key Status" or vice versa)

          2. Perform [3C] - [3] (Format HDD), and then install "System Software (HD data)" with [49] - [4].

IF problem come back shortly, u need to replace new HDD & update latest firmwares.

*Do ask your customers whether they shutdown the machine properly

that each Key Status is "OK".
          - If not, recover the key (copy "SRAM Key Status" to
"FROM Key Status" or vice versa).

Thank you so much for all the info, and for taking time out of your day to help me out. I appreciate it very much.
I followed all the steps and machine functioning again. My next issue is going to be getting customer set up for wireless printing again. That should be fun

Replace your hard drive. Reformatted won't work. You will have error back.
