[Misc] Scan to Email. DNS keeps resetting.

I'm setting up scan to email using Gmail's Primary and Secondary DNS. (8.8.8.8) & (8.8.4.4)

In TopAccess under Network, DNS Session I update the DNS Primary & secondary. Save and save, then wait for the machine to initialize.

After the machine initializes, the DNS Primary Server Address keeps automatically updating to the default IP address preventing email's from being sent. I've updated the firmware and it keeps happening..

Any ideas on how to correct this issue? Maybe a setting that I need to disable?

Also the scan to email was working perfect at our shop, this is only happening on the customers router.

Is the device set to dhcp for the IP address?

It actually is not. I have it set to Static.

That being said, after looking through options on TopAccess I've found the option to enable or disable "Obtain a Domain Server Address automatically Disable"

When I Disable this it does keep my manually input DNS. I've only tried this on a machine at the shop and not the customer's though. I'm going to see if this works on Monday.

You don't specify a model. There are two places that you need to Save when changing settings. When you select TCP/IP a new window will open. You make the appropriate changes and Save. When you're back to the original window there is another Save. If you don't save in both places the data is not saved. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
