    [Dead] Toshiba 2830C

I have not worked on many Toshiba copiers. I have a 2830C that come to ready but will not copy or print out any internal reports. I don't see any errors. The touch screen does work.
    Any have any thoughts?

Can you print a counter page, or a document from USB? It must say something useful on the screen ... like Load Paper maybe? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

it will not print the meters. It will change screens. I can get into admin mode. that's it. Should it print out the meter page automatically or do you have to press start. All of the hard key work. I'm assuming that the start key does. When you ask for the meter page it says list print is reserved. I just have a ready message on the screen

No, you don't have to press Start.

Do the trays show that they have paper? How about toner levels? Can you view TopAccess to see if there are any messages there? =^..^=

It has toner and paper, the trays lift. on the counter screen I have a lock symbol if that means any thing.
Do this machine say to ender a code to make copies if tracking is turned on? I don't think it is

If job accounting was turned on there would be a login screen at initialization, or when color imaging is selected.

Maybe there's a job stuck in the memory, viewable from the job log. Especially if it's a fax job, you can run *1-100, and *1-102.

Can you get into Top Access and view the job log? =^..^=

I can get in, but this is all I see. If I format the HD do I need to reload the firmware? I am not a dealer and I have no access to that

Did you look at the image you attached? It's very small.

                    Yes you'd need firmware with a re-format and/or replacement.

Could you possibly provide me with the firmware? I purchased the machine from a University and they wiped the hard drive and I cannot find it anywhere. If so please email me at Justin@monarchcalendarandprinting.com Thank You
