    [Dead] E-studio 206 not booting after replacing cmos battery

    Please help on this, my e-studio 206 not booting after replacing cmos battery. No display on panel. After 0+8+ power, display for few second then goes disaper with beep. Thanks in advance

    Exactly what did you hope to achieve by removing the battery? Clearing the counts to zero?

    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Actualy machine was not in use since last 8 month. Battery get rusty and disccharged. i use method as given below. machine is on now. but now scanner get stucked while making copy. and gives to much noice in gears seems ike belt slip. please help.Re: toshiba e-studio 206

      factory initialize, and 0-5,0-8 initialize.
      1. 1+3+*+power on
      2. 0-8 +power on 388
      3. 0-8+ power on 655
      4. 1+3+#+power on
      5. 0-2 + power on 44 and start button


      if not replace the S-RAM
