Cus says the machine will stop and control panel will freeze and they have to shut down the machine to clear. Have updated firmware and replaced HDD. Doesn't seem to have helped.

Re: Toshiba 4520c freezing when printing
Are you sure there's no error code? Like CA00 or CE40? Did you print off the 9S-107 error/jam list? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Sounds like the thermistors have dust on them. Common issue. Search this forum for the answer.Comment

Re: Toshiba 4520c freezing when printing
Kinda similar: If the tech that rebuilt the fuser mis-routed the heat lamp wires, then re-installed the right cover pinching the wires to the frame, the machine will fall back into warmup in the middle of a print job, then idle for 10 minutes or so while it attempts to warm up, then it will resumes printing.

Re: Toshiba 4520c freezing when printing
Checked for errors. Nothing shows except for some RADF misfeeds. Cleaned the thermopiles, a little dusty. I have seen that before but didn't lock the control panel. See how this goes. Also checked the fuser wiring - looks ok.Comment
