[CQ] Toshiba E-Studio 455 skewed copies

I am working on this machine and am having a problem with the copies coming out skewed. I have replaced the drum, and it seems that the copies then do come out very skewed. When printing and copying from the bypass and all 3 drawers it doesn't change. I cleaned the registration roller. I have seen a lot of these machines that do skew a little but not a bad as the one today. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
    Neil

Take a look at the support strap for the right door at the front of the door. Is it broken? Remove the broken piece on the post.

What happens is that the broken end prevents the door from latching at the front. The strap is entirely unnecessary.

Here is the record from the spreadsheet:
Misfeeds (E010, E020) every copy and print from every tray. After cleaning, image registration is early by up to 35mm, with a 35mm paper skew. Rubber registration roller does not contact the metal registration roller at the front. To confirm, remove the imaging unit and close the right door with LT paper between the rollers. The paper may be snug at the rear, but loose at the front. Remove broken door support strap, blocking the door from closing at the front.

This applies to any Loire, Loire X or Loire 2X. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks blackcat for your quick response I did see the strap was broken and thought that could be it when I got back to the office and thought I would post here to get some ideas before going back out. I have some 305se machines in my office that skew slightly Thanks again will let you know

When the strap is broken, the broken strap attached to the transfer unit (ADU unit) need to be remove, otherwise it will cause image skew, paper jam as mentioned by Mr. Cat.

Thanks everyone for you help. I did go back out and remove the broken piece. Seem to still be off a little bit. Not to bad but not straight. Customer is not complaining so far. I have several of these machines in the office and they all seem to be off slightly. Any other ideas on this problem. Thanks

Along with the suggestions mentioned, watch those white "pushers" on the reg. area, there is a new type. The other issue is related to the strap, it tends to cock the whole door, so torque it counterclockwise by hand a bit to re-align that section. I'm looking for that engineer on that one, I have a brand new bat for him.

You can try adjusting the buckle for each tray individually. Check the Adjustment & Settings section of the manual for a loop adjustment (05-452-x). =^..^=
