    Toshiba 5055C Hard Disk

So I re-imaged the hard disk on the copier a couple days ago and it failed again. Leading me to believe I have a bad disk, does anyone know if you can use any hard disk for replacement as long as it is the same size? Or does Cylinder, heads and sectors matter? Also do you need to format the disk to a specific format prior to installing or will the copier format option work regardless of that aspect?

    Any help would be appreciated.

NO. It must be a Wipe Drive. You may not substitute. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Not really sure what you mean by a wipe drive, unless you are referring to the concept of wiping a drive but even then you would still need the specific format. Can you elaborate more?

You must install a Toshiba original Secure Encrypted HDD aka SED-HDD. No other form of off the shelf HDD will work.

Wipe Drive means that if the original SED-HDD is removed from the Toshiba copier and any other device attempts to read the data, the SED-HDD will automatically remove the encryption key from that SED-HDD effectively wiping all data on the SED-HDD and rendering it permanently non functional.
