I have several machines that go light after PM is done. I tried running PM support mode setup and the DV, DR and gamma adjust manually both with the same outcome. Copies go light after 10k or so. Any suggestions? Thank you

Genuine toner? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: ES-857 CQ Light After PM
I've had that MANY times on the 855, 856 & 857 series, around 10-20k after a full pm, resetting the pm support mode,
doing the gamma etc. Copies look GREAT after the pm, but after 10-20k copies, they get light. Now, on mine, if you
use the Toshiba test charge, they will look undertoned. I go into 05 mode, manual DV adjustment, let it run for about
20 seconds. Increase the number about 15 points higher than it is. Take it out of 05 mode. Run a copy. It will most
likely go into "starve" mode and add toner. After it catches up, go back into 05 mode and rerun the automatic DV
calibration. Once finished, check the CQ. I'll almost bet it will look better.
And, I have NO IDEA why this works, it will hold calibration until the pm light comes on again.
I have looked into why this does it, and I can't figure it out, but, 99% of the time, it works!Comment
