    Toshiba E studio 5008A password forgotten

    Need help how to reset Toshiba E studio 5008A service password to its default I now its #1048# but some one change it before three months ago and forget it. now it shows F101 and i can't update the firmware .it has tablet touch screen
    please help?

      [ON/OFF] button while pushing the [HOME] and [ACCESS]
      buttons simultaneously. In case both the service password and the administrator password have been forgotten, can
      be reset by means of the HA mode. the user data are deleted at that time.

          I try HA mode the service Authentication pop up but when I enter #1048# repeatedly it says "Account locked down restart the MPF"
          do you have any Idea?

              I think you're screwed.

              If the MFP could come to ready, you could enter User Function > Admin Tab > admin password, then reset the service password. I know of no other way to reset service password.

              I would put it on the customer: "What's the service password? Without it I cannot do anything." =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
