Is the fax board for an e-studio3511 the same as a fax board for the e-studio 230? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe they are. The 3511 uses the GD1200 fax option if I recall correctly and the 230 uses the GD1150 fax option.. You may want to absolutely verify it though.. mostly it's the mountings that r different! but the software and primary connector is different too IIRC..
