    Toshiba oblique printing

    Hello,
I own a Toshiba e-STUDIO 4555cse and i got problems when im using the large magasine in the bottom.

When i print using the large magasine in the bottom the printing comes out not align it rotated....

When i use the small magasine it comes out straight but when i use the second or the third magasine its not aligned.

    Please see the attached file.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thank you in advance.

There are a couple of different reasons why you might get paper skew:

    1) You may have a corner of paper folded over somewhere in the stack of paper, causing it to be higher at the front or back. That paper will skew. Quite often the enduser has consumed the folded over paper by the time I arrive, and I see the samples, but cannot re-create the issue.
    2) On tray #1 or #2 the side guides might be loose, allowing the paper to skew.
    3) If the little swiveling metal guide at the top of the LCF front paper guide becomes bent, when the paper lifts to feed height that front guide will dig into the paper causing E190, E3E0 jams & paper skew. Reform the guide to something like this:

    E190_E3E0.jpg

    4) If the pre-registration mylar is incorrectly tucked under the registration roller, you'll get wrinkling & paper skew, especially the lower trays.

    How's that for starters? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Hello,
Thank you so much for the reply, you are awsome!

      I tried suggestione 1, 2 and 3.
Regarding suggestion 2 i pulled out all the treys including tray #3 and fastned all the screws.
Regarding suggestion 3 one of the metal guides was a bit bended.

The paper still comes out just a little bit scewed...
I tried to understand suggestion 4 also but i couldnt understand what the pre-registration mylar was... could you please explain that a bit more, thank you

I don't think I have the original photo, but maybe this will help:

        4) ... the blue arrows indicate the pre-registration mylars. They should lay straight up against the plastic registration roller, not folded under.

        5) Worn feed rollers can also cause paper skew. =^..^=

Everything looks good... The machine aint that used.. only aboyt 40 000prints.

The skew is much better now but still like 2mm on A4 from the top right to the bottom right.

            2) ... are the paper guides touching the sides of the paper? They must be touching, but not tight: 0.25mm clearance.

            6) Does the right lower door latch properly? I've seen broken latch hooks, broken handles, loose screws in the handles & pressure springs missing from idler roller shaft. Also clean pickup rollers, and rubber rollers in the vertical path with an orange oil based solvent, up to and including the rubber registration roller. DO NOT CLEAN the secondary transfer roller, or primary transfer belt, both are nearby and will be damaged by an oily cleaner.

              6) ... clean only the rollers marked RED. DO NOT CLEAN rollers marked GREEN.

                    Re: Toshiba oblique printing

Whenever I get a skew, first place I run is through the bypass. Eliminates all the feed system rollers except the alignment
roller. With this being an older EB-X machine, as others have mentioned, most likely the rollers are slick/worn. Also check
the white tension rollers in the doors.

If print is fine using drawer 1 but comes skewed any drawer below 1st you can concentrate on side door or transport rollers. With only 40k counter I would think about warped door/cover.
