Only jams when feeding out of the KD1031 (LCT), and only when duplexing. Both paper trays feed fine on single sided and duplex and the LCT feed fine on single sided. I actually replaced the KD1031 with a brand new one, same issue, EB50 about every 5-10 copies or so. Paper is in the duplexor (side door)and another sheet feeding up from the paper trays area.

It's probably happening in the duplexer, four possible causes:
1) one or more pressure roller(s) may not have any spring pressure in the duplexer.
2) duplex rollers may be dirty
3) ADU exit sensor S15 may be intermittent, or the flag returning slowly
4) duplex clutch may be failing
I would check them in this order, but I suspect that you'll find that the flag for S15 is sticking, or the sensor dusty (#4 in the illustration)

If it makes you feel any better, EB50's can be very hard to diagnose. They can be caused by a wide variety of issues. The machine thinks it's detecting a doublefeed, but that's rarely what's happening. Starting in the tray, it can be caused by:
*worn rollers
*broken PE sensor flag
*incorrectly set separation
*incorrectly set paper guides
*paper lift issues, too low or uneven
*specific unusual media
The paper is almost always found in the paper tray or duplex pre-registration, never after registration. If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yep, check the shape of those duplex sensor flags. Over time, they end up getting worn down to the point it throws the timing off.
Given the age of the machine, I'd check a lot of those sensor flags too.
