    4508 KD-1059

Have a strange LCF problem. Load both sides of the LCF and boot up. Shows both sides full. Run 1 copy, then right side shows empty. Reboot and will show full again. Key in 5 and will run all 5, then show empty after completion. Carry a feedhead with me and swapped it, no difference. this was at end of day when they were closing. disconnected LCF and said I'd be back. Error history showed a lot of C1B0 and C180 codes. I'll research it this weekend. Any idea's would be appreciated. I have a KD-1058 I can put on it if it's not an easy fix. Thanks

There are only two motors on the KD-1059, and both are erroring out, so I suggest rechecking all the connectors inside the KD-1059, and to the machine. There's also a possibility that there's a pinched wire in the KD-1059 harness. If it persists (which it will) it can be either the LCF controller or the logic board, 50/50 either way. I'd probably go for the LCF controller first, only because it will be cheaper. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks BC. That was the ticket. I figured as much.

I WISH they would provide maybe an extra 1/4 inch of cable, to connect these to the color machines.
Pop off the back, unhook one of the clamps gives you enough cable, but you have to pull the back cover off.
