... press the yellow clear hard key twice. What is the message? -
Re: Toshiba eStudio 5506AC / Message icon
It depends on the message. What was it again? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Toshiba eStudio 5506AC / Message icon
The LAN cable message simply means the machine cannot detect the network cable is plugged in. Make sure the device is not set to a static ip and DHCP is enabled.
The phone number is the "banner" message in service mode. You can edit these setting in 08-9327,9328,9329, and 9330.

If it isn't connected to a LAN, you can disable the message in admin mode I believe.Comment

Re: Toshiba eStudio 5506AC / Message icon
With the machine off, hold down the Function/Clear and Start buttons. Turn on the main power while holding these 2 buttons. Password is #1048# Select 08 setting mode, upper right-hand corner, touch Classic. You can then enter the various 08 codes with the on-screen keypad. Enter the code # (9327) then hit Start, enter the new value, then OK to save the new value. To exit hit FS menu, then Normal on the touch screen.
