    Toshiba 655 E010

    I have the manual.
No paper in the fuser or on transfer belt. The paper stops sometimes in front of the registration roller.
The registration rollers turn fine and the flag looks fine. Can be the switch but the jam is not consistence.
    Any idea welcome.
Anybody have the registration motor 6LE09196000 or/and the belt 4406350060.

    Thanks

    Re: Toshiba 655 E010

E010 was one of those problemmatic jam codes on the Alabama series. In some cases, new main board helped. In most cases it didn't help. These are the things that for sure have solved individual cases of E010 intermittent:

Misfed (E010), will not clear. Jam removal screen prompts do not change when the upper right door is opened. Failure of bypass feed unit cover sensor (SFB-COV-SNR). Replace upper right door photointerrupter Sharp "73" (C0-10813000).

Misfeeds (E010), leaving two unfused pages at the fuser entrance. Fuser idler gear post has become unscrewed-loose, allowing the idler gear to dis-engage drive, and chew up the gear. Remove lower fuser roller to secure and locktite the stub shaft, screwed through the frame. Replace the gray idler gear, and check the one-way bearing.

Misfeeds (E010). One way bearings on the feed roller slip. Cleaned and lubricated one-way bearings in the tray #1 feed drive.

Misfeeds (E010). Drum claw shift one-way cam binds up drum claw movement. Clean and lubricate drum claw shift one-way bearing.

Misfeeds (E010). Bent drum claws snag up paper into the drum cleaning unit. Reform or replace drum separation claws. Confirm that drum claws move properly.

Misfeed duplex (E010). Jams snag on the drum claws. Watch for matching drum claw marks on leading edge of misfeeds. Drum separation claws have been installed backwards. Re-install drum claws with metal side down. Make sure that drum claw lever lowers claws away from the drum. May need to replace drum. (OD-6510).

Misfeed duplex (E010). Blue paper only wrinkles and snags on the drum claws. Colored paper remains unwrapped on the shelf, moist paper. Center drum claw gets bent down. Replace center drum claw. Use fresh paper.

There are any number of causes for this E010 jam code. Good luck solving. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for all this info, the symptoms at my customer's printer are different but it help to explain to him that it is not an easy solution and may take some time (and money) if he wants to fix it.

        Re: Toshiba 655 E010

Might be time to talk them into getting rid of it as well.
The x56 series went EOL in April 2022.
Wouldn't surprise me if the x57 series will die off April 2023.
Not a bad box in its day, but it's gettin' a bit worn.
