    MJ-1112 + E5506, 1.5 million mis-folding

Was a bunch of paper dust on the sensors, rollers felt like racing slicks.
    Corrected that...
When folding, it might fold 3-4 correctly, then mis fold one, not centered, then another
3-4 WAY off on the fold, then run 2-3 ok, then mis fold again.
Only thing I could see that might be off a bit, is one of the sensor flags looks like it might
    be worn down a bit.

Any hints on intermittent folding issues?

Not sure if either of these entries will help you ... you decide:

Misfeeds LT-R booklets (EAB0) in the saddle stitcher (MJ-1104). Occasionally smashed booklets eject without jamming. Paper cuts in the front white delrin paper guide at the folding knife. Smooth out Guide Flat Exit SDL (6LB28717000) and swap with a center guide. Or replace.

Ledger booklets are stapled correctly, but fold 34mm off center, in the saddle stitcher (MJ-1104). Customers business card (50mm) was on the stack of ledger paper in the paper tray, fed through the copier successfully, and lodged in the saddle stitcher tray. Remove business card from the saddle stitcher tray, seen on the right side of the saddle stitcher.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        I still remember thinking: " ... this couldn't possibly cause this problem ... " =^..^=

          Follow up

Tech just called. Problem solved. It WAS the sponge rollers that were causing the problem.
Ran over 50 folded/stapled and it's working perfectly.

Good Tech! That can be tricky
