    456 E061/62

    Tech just called me. Had a 356/456 that tray 1 & 2 are showing E061 & E062
Tray one letter-r, tray 2 legal. Tray 3 is the LCF.
He changed paper sizes, no change.
He's replaced both paper feed units, no change. No paper scraps at the back of the feed area either.
Other than a pinched wire harness...only thing I could think of would be the paper feed board or
    logic board.

    Any other thoughts?

    Re: 456 E061/62

There are a couple of new things here: registration switches, sector gears or loose mounting screw, loop adjustment ...

    Loire:
Misfeeds from tray #1 (E061). "Load LTR paper." or "Load paper to bypass tray." Worn registration roller flags. Other consequences: Ripped tray #1 separation roller, separation guide dislodged, and cracked lift sector gear. Replace registration roller flags (6LH56318000, 6LH56319000), PM-KIT-ROLLER (6LH34608000), and sector gear (6LJ11607000).

Misfeeds from tray #1 (E061). "Load LTR paper." or "Load paper to bypass tray." Worn tray #1 paper feed rollers. Replace tray #1 rollers (6LH34608000).

Misfeeds from tray #1 (E061). LT-R paper is loaded in tray #1, but programmed as LT. Program tray #1 to appropriate size: User Functions > Drawer > select drawer > select appropriate paper size.

Misfeeds from tray #2 (E062). Paper size mismatch. Tray #2 was loaded LT-R, but programmed LT. Re-orient paper in tray #2 to LTR, to match current settings.

Misfeeds from tray #2 (E062, E065, E140). Z-folds each page before the fuser. Loop out of adjustment. For large size paper tray #2, set 05-452-0 from "20" to "10".

    Loire X:
Misfeeds (E061). Paper in tray #1 has been re-positioned to LT-R, while still programmed for LT. Re-position paper or re-program paper size tray #1, either so they match.

Misfeeds (E062). Paper in tray #2 has been re-positioned to LT, while still programmed for LT-R. Re-position paper or re-program paper size tray #2, either so they match.

Misfeeds (EB50, E061) accompanied by noise when paper is near end, from tray #1. Inadequate paper lift. Paper lift gear is loose, but not broken. Secure and thread-lock the sector gear screw.

Misfeeds (EB50, E062) accompanied by noise when paper is near end, from tray #2. Inadequate paper lift. Paper lift gear is broken. Replace and thread-lock the sector gear (6LJ11607000).

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
