I removed the DF paper tray and several spacers fell out. I couldn't tell where they came from but they were loose in there. I gently cleaned the contacts on the sensor board and tested without any issues.
    Thanks for your insight.

I see this all the time on the Toshiba DSDF's. The original width guide sensor needs to be replaced. It's a narrow board under the original tray with long contact strips that the DF guides slide along.

Estudio 5516ac rotating image through DF

    Hey all
Customer with 5516ac complains that when running a stack of LEF letter paper through the DF it will randomly turn the image of a page and print it on legal paper. She also says when scanning a stack it will also rotate the image of a page and cut it off.
I have not seen this problem in person but when I was called out for it I cleaned sensors in DF.
I haven't tried firmware yet, my next step, but was wondering if anyone had seen these symptoms and if they were able to solve it.
    Thanks
Working...
