    Estudio 203s Check ADF/RADF

    Hello,

    I am not trained on Toshiba but was able to obtain a manual. Still not seeing what this message means specifically. I gutted the ADF to clean sensors and reseat everything. The ADF will operate sometimes, but usually I get this message after I load originals and hit "start".

      I know I've seen this message before, but it's buried under 15yrs of dust. It may come back to me. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          That is an oldie! I feel like it may having something to do with the DF down sensor. If it detects paper in the DF tray but DF is raised, this message appears. It's a place to start anyway, could be misaligned or faulty DF down/closed sensor.
          Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?
