I have a 4515 in the field that only jams from the LCC. We have replaced the feed tires, sep rollers etc. The paper feeds out of the tray and hits the first turn rollers where the paper folds and then proceeds to the next roller assembly. It appears the primary roller is not starting quickly enough; it does spin but it must be late. As usual its in a place where they are always pushing us out the door so no chance yet to disassemble the unit, also We do not have a service or parts manual that covers the LCC. I didn't see any sensors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: estudio 4515 LCC jams
Start with getting the service manual and a jam code. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

For starters, are you talking about the KD1059 LCT?
What firmware is the copier at?
How many clicks are on the copier?Comment

Re: estudio 4515 LCC jams
These LCC feed units are the exact same feed units as in a Ricoh, so I am very familiar with this. On the feed roller shaft you will want to scuff up the shaft a little for the one way bearing to grab. There are two, one on the drive gear beside the feed roller and one in the feed roller it self. Also, if this doesn't do the trick replace the feed clutch. One or both will solve your issue. FYI, sorry for the welcome committee but next time you will want to come with more info otherwise you can get hammered on this site. We get a lot of end users asking questions they should not be asking and it gets a little old. Just saying.Comment

I was looking to see if anybody had a manual or any info on how the turn roller clutch is set up. This is a customer who is always pressured for time, being a church, I would think they would be a little more patient, but the pastor is always in a hurry to Leave, so I have not had the time to disassemble the unit.
As for the welcome committee, they are always fun. I have been coming here longer than a lot of these "techs" have been working, just not often, only for the weird units.

Like I care! As stated problem solved without any help from here, not much help anyway mostly little snarts like this one. GROW UP! If you can't help then just move on to the next one you cant help.
On the Smarka board there were professionals who responded and there We were frequent collaborators to help out other pro's. Not so much here as you all sound and act like the kids on facebook groups.
Bad on me for wasting my time even posting a question here. Don't bother responding children as I will no longer read or respond.Comment

Re: estudio 4515 LCC jams
I think the problem is that the 4515 has 2 different LCTs. There's the TLCF the tandem tray available for the base of the machine and the OLCF that's available as an outside option, so that is why more information was requested.Comment
