I have error C970 on machine Thosiba e studio 2540cse. I checked every cylinder, everything looks K, inside the contacts seem K.Se I can see clearly, the blades on the cylinders are firm and clean. I understand that there can be something in short on the cylinders. What do I need to measure? WITH what codes can I check each cylinder. In the worst case, how can I cancel the color cylinders, so that after booting only black and white goes. But let it go. Thanks in advance! Cristi

You need to give up on this copier that was discontinued in May 2012. Toshiba Tec Japan no longer supports it with parts and supplies.
This was an overly complicated and heavy weight design from the past.👍 1Comment

Image units and look for broken lever on charge grid (s). If charge grid/saw tooth is not tight or throws that code.[/QUOTE]
The window teeth are whole, but the piece somehow plays left right at each image unit. I mean, she's not firmly caught. The HVT board seems in order, I didn't find anything squeezed by electric arc.. If you know any codes I can try each cylinder individually. Maybe I find the faulty one, and using another code, to cancel the color part, so it remains black and white. I didn't understand the electrodes part in short on the cylinder. Where should I measure? THANKS! wire break,
its side charger or main charger?
I have service manual if you need. tehnicdti@gmail.comComment

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
